Herbal Elegance at The Kelly Gallery

Monday, February 2, 2015

Without question, this wedding was my most finely detailed event in 2014. There was not a stone left unturned- Kim from You're Invited just absolutely nailed it! It was a truly international affair, with guests flying in from all over the globe to celebrate with the bride and groom. Our lovely bride hails from Spain, and the groom was originally a Kansan, although they are currently living in Amsterdam. The day began with a Spanish ceremony in KC MO, and ended with a truly beautiful lantern release at the gorgeous property of The Kelly Gallery Gardens, in Overland Park.

Most of these {all with a logo} stunning images are from Wirken Photography- head to his blog post to see more of this spectacular event!

The reception was formal and uber-elegant, and yet also rustic and herbal and oh-so-charming. Personalized details throughout the event were customized completely to the couple's vision, and it was so lovely! We used fragrant fresh lavender, olive branches, and even touches of cotton on the stem for a beautiful effect.

Every place setting included a stem of lavender, elegantly placed across the menu for the evening. We moved the herbal wreaths from the church doors and added them to the back of the bride and groom's chairs for the reception.

Every table was identified by the places this couple has visited together- such an amazing collection of travel memories that they shared with their guests.

Our gorgeous floral chandelier design!

Is this not the most spectacular setting for a tented reception? Not to mention the romance and intention behind the lanterns. Love these images so much!!! This was an event that the guests will remember for the rest of their lives- truly amazing.

Just attended a wedding here. We had hot, delicious meals. The wedding was amazing, everyone had such a great time. The Banquet Halls space was elegant and impressive. The coordinator really appears to love her job, she had a smile on the whole day. Even after the wedding ended.
