Teacher Gifts

Friday, May 13, 2011

As some of you know, my mother was a special education teacher, as was my grandmother before her. Although I certainly don't have the patience to carry on that tradition (thankfully I have found a good path for myself!), I am certainly so thankful for the teachers in our lives.  I thought it would be fun to do a post that includes some great, inexpensive crafty ideas for making some special gifts for these ladies (and gents) in an affordable way!

There’s some amazing ideas for fantastic teacher gifts floating around the web. Don't get me wrong... I know they all appreciate gift cards the most (and I am NOT discouraging anyone from doing that).  I just think it's fun to add a little something extra, or dress up your gift in an inspired way.  All of these ideas are linked to the the amazing blogs with a free printable that will make your gift really look special!

This is a cute one… and a perfect price point!

Need a really inexpensive idea?  This is a cute way to wrap up a candy bar!

This is a really fun, customizable idea… and it’s the perfect time of year to give plants for gardens!

Milk and cookies… there are so many ways to wrap this up and present it!

The A&W idea is especially cute in this post … but they are all awesome (and all include free printables!)

Perhaps my favorite (because it’s COFFEE):

Hope some of you find this inspirational! Show your teachers some love.  :)
