This wedding was just stunning. Truly classic and elegant in every way... the colors, the venues, it was stylish and timeless. In fact, I loved the way this bouquet turned out so much that I used an image of it for my new business cards because it was such a modern, yet classic bridal bouquet. The brooch that this bride used had been in her family since the 1800's. I love these kind of personal touches, it's what really makes a wedding warm and personal. Her bouquet was white dahlias, white callas, and white cymbidium orchids. We wrapped the stem in lace from the hem of the bride's gorgeous gown.
A beautiful flower girl, above and below. Aren't these the cutest photos of her? Her pomander was made of petite red garden-style spray roses and petite red dahlias.
The gorgeous bridesmaids wore floor-length black gowns with red sashes... it was raining that day and I think the umbrellas made for some gorgeous shots!
The reception was at the Kemper Museum of Modern Art. We used a modern tall square vase, filled with vibrant late-summer blooms such as lilies, roses, coxcomb, zinnias, snapdragons, and dahlias. They were full of gorgeous color in this space filled with vibrant art. For more photos of this stunning wedding, visit Portraits by Lucinda and check out the slideshow!
