Ohhhh, these flowers were vibrant and gorgeous and so much fun to work on! My first Hindu wedding, I was SO EXCITED. The vibrancy of these colors, the jewel tones, the henna, the romance of the the whole day, my fascination never stopped! Above is the bride's bouquet... her sari was a deep red with gold beading. There was no bridal party during the traditional morning ceremony.
Above, the groom's awesome boutenniere, composed of freesia, hypericum berry, grasses, and a cool golden-edged ribbon to tie his look into the bride's bouquet.
Above and below are the ceremony, which took place under the traditional mandap. How gorgeous is all of this? Just the perfect colors for this time of year... it was wonderful to be able to use such seasonal, vibrant blooms. Dahlias, zinnias, snapdragons, berries, roses, lilies, the list goes on!
Below are close-ups of the gorgeous centerpieces, which also doubled for the ceremony aisle decor. Always such a smart idea when possible... re-use your blooms from the ceremony for your reception and get double bang for your buck!
This was another lovely family that I was thrilled to help with their wedding flowers. They even brought me a gorgeous necklace from India as a thank you gift... we will treasure it always! Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to help with the big day, I can't wait to see the pro photos!
